Make sure anyone you hire is licensed and insured for wildlife removal and pest control in Florida.  All Fort Lauderdale exterminators must be licensed pest control technicians.  Without a license, you are exposing yourself to a potential lawsuit if the workers get hurt on your roof or in your attic.

2. Try to speak on the phone with whoever will be performing the work to gauge their level of expertise and professionalism.  There are enough owner-operated Florida exterminators who do a great job and have to be responsible for the customer's happiness.  Why choose a larger company who will send who knows how good of an employee out to the home?

3. If you feel uncertain about the estimate from one rat exterminator company, call other animal trappers in Boca Raton or Miami to get another opinion / estimate to give you more options.
