Possums get inside home attics for safety for themselves and their
babies and warmth from night time temperatures. The house attic is an isolated and warm place to hole up during the day. Baby possums
hold onto the mother for the first few weeks of their lives.
It is best to catch the family together at this stage, when trapping all
of them together is possible.
