Rodent Removal.

The page here uses the term rodent for raccoon.  This was done for reasons of helping customers find our websites.

*Raccoons are not rodents.  This means their damage may be covered by your home owner's insurance.

Rodents are trapped to stop the damage they cause in the attic or outside on the property. These animals are well known carriers of rabies. They break into attics to raise their young. They use swimming pools as their own toilet.

There are 3 main ways to trap a rodent:

rodent problem West Palm Beach

1.  Retrieve the baby raccoons by hand and use the rodents as bait to catch the mother raccoon.

removing rodents
The rodent litter is removed by hand once located in the attic. This method is relatively dangerous as the mother rodent is likely in the attic and will defend her young. Mother raccoons will do anything for their young.
This method involves quite a bit of skill. If you cannot safely move around in the attic or on your rooftop, call a professional rodent removal company.

2.  With the rodents still inside the attic, set the trap at the entry point and structurally force the rodent to be trapped as it leaves the house.

expert rodent control
No rodent or critter can enter an attic and stay there for more than a few days. They all have to come outside sooner or later for food and water. A trap set at entry hole, secured so that the animal cannot circumvent the trap, is an excellent way to be certain to catch the target animal. Some entry points do not allow this type of setup and other rodent removal techniques have to be used.

3.  Catch critters with live humane traps on the ground baited with delicious foods.

rat, squirrel, mouse control
This is a weak removal method if the problem rodent is inside the attic. But sometimes, its the only method depending on how the rodent is getting into the home. If the problem is rodents pooping in the pool, digging in the trash, or ripping up porch screens, then this is the good approach. Raccons like to eat everything, so the choice of bait isn't terribly important. If meat products are used, especially wet cat food or tuna - you will increase the odds that you will catch a feral cat in the neighborhood. If the rodent has been captured in this type of trap before, the rodents may stay away from the traps.

Our critter rodent control company was founded in 2003 with the goal to offer the best rat control services in West Palm Beach, Florida. Rats and mice cause a huge loss of food worldwide.  The word rodent comes from "to gnaw". Rodents will gnaw through many types of materials in order to reach a location including aluminum soffit, stand vent screening, lead sheathing, aluminum siding and some concrete. Our rodent removal team believes in treating animals humanely and people fairly. We specialize in all of Florida's wildlife problems.  When baiting initially, try not to disturb rodents in the attics original habitats or they may run to another area. After baiting has begun, continue with sanitation procedures, food source removal, and harborage removal.   If you have critters living in your attic, we don't just trap our experts solve the cause of the problem, by identifying all of the open entry points leading into your house.  Our rodent control exterminators pride ourselves on our repair work, and we offer a full guarantees on work performed against all rodents, bats, birds, and larger pest animals.

Bats are one of the most helpful West Palm Beach critters. There are more than 950 different kinds of bats.  The big brown bat, which is rare in West Palm Beach, FL,  eats up to 6,000 insects per night. Less than one half of one percent of all bats get rabies, and only a few of species (and of these pest bats in Boca Raton) in Central America drink blood. Many people are uncomfortable with bats, and do not want to share their house with bats forming a colony in the attic. Bats in Florida, on the other hand, enjoy sharing a house with people, and might even prefer living in an attic when natural roosts are  available. Got bats living in your attic?, no problem, just call our West Palm experts. We are experts at the proven ways to safely remove a colony from your house.
